Save Time With Keyboard Commands

You can save a lot of time when you work by using keyboard commands. The Microsoft® website has lists of commands for all its applications; here are some common ones that can speed up your work. NOTE: Not all commands work for all versions of the application. Check the Microsoft website for information about your version of these applications.

CTRL + X = Cut

CTRL + C = Copy

CTRL + V = Paste

CTRL + Z = Undo

CTRL + S = Save

CTRL+ B = Bold

CTRL + I = Italics

CTRL + Y = Restore

CTRL + F = Find

CTRL + H = Find and replace

CTRL +ENTER = Page break

CTRL + P = Print

ALT+ PAGE UP + Top of column

ALT+ HOME = Top of row

CTRL + X = Cut

CTRL + C = Copy

CTRL + V = Paste

CTRL + Z = Undo

CTRL + S = Save

CTRL+ B = Bold

CTRL + I = Italics

CTRL + Y = Restore

CTRL + D = Create duplicate

CTRL + F = Find

CTRL + H = Find and replace

CTRL + Shift + > = Increase font size

ALT + CTRL + Shift + < = Decrease font size

CTRL + D = Delete

CTRL + S = Save

CTRL + 1 = Switch to mail

CTRL + 2 = Switch to calendar

CTRL + 3 = Switch to contacts

CTRL + 4 =  Switch to tasks

CTRL + 5 + Switch to notes

CTRL + Shift + A = Create appointment

CTRL + Shift + C = Create contact

CTRL + Shift + L = Create distribution list

CTRL + Shift + Q = Create meeting request

CTRL + Shift + N = Create a note

CTRL + Shift + K = Create a task
